BIJI BUMI
Translates to seeds of the earth or fruits of the land. Our growers cultivate many other forest plants and they are all delicious!
ORANG ASLI GROWERS
Our durians are the unique product of the Orang Asli communities in the Selangor region. The durian orchards there along with the cultivation skills have been passed down through generations. We at Biji-Bumi acknowledge and respect the indigenous rights of the Orang Asli to the land.
What We Do
We believe that the earth provides, so long as we give back. Our kampung durians and other natural products are seeds of the land, meant to be enjoyed as nature intended for us to. The farmed variants have historically been unsustainable – lacks biodiversity, disrupts the ecosystem, and marginalises the native community for control over their land. We at Biji-Bumi wholeheartedly say ENOUGH.
ALLOWED TO GROW AS NATURE INTENDED
What’s good for the earth is good for us, too.
UNDISTURBED NATURE
Our durians grow undisturbed in their native environment, far away from urban pollutants and the harmful urban environments but close enough to deliver it fresh to your doorstep. We thrive to keep the land that way so we can continuously bring you the best products.

ENTREPRENEURS
Our growers are from the Orang Asli villages in the outskirts of Selangor. They tend to their land tirelessly even when they have day jobs because they know that the land provides. Every fruiting season gives the opportunity for the villagers to live comfortably until the next year and much more.
