Our growers are tending to the trees. Giving back to nature so she may provide us with the best fruits. See you again next season!
AT BIJI BUMI, WE SAY NO TO PLASTIC
100% GREEN PACKAGING
Our containers are made from bamboo fibres and other compostable materials. Turn them into compost or use them as pots to grow seeds. Once they sprout, plant them in the ground – even with the container and watch them grow!
“OMG, they were so good! Creamy and so tasty!” – Lisa
“The environment is where we all meet; where we all have a mutual interest; it is the one thing all of us share.”
WHY DO WE DO THIS?
SUSTAINIBILITY. Each one of us has a role to play in preserving the heritage of the original durians and to celebrate their uniqueness instead of erasing them. Farmed durian variants lack biodiversity, disrupts the ecosystem, and marginalises the native community for control over their land. We want you to be part of the solution and be STEWARDS OF YOUR OWN TREE.
THAT’S WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT FROM THE REST

With the wealth of underexplored heritage of communities like the Orang Asli coupled with consumer behaviour today, we believe a solution for this gap lies in community-based tourism. Local communities can come together to reclaim their rights, find a space in mainstream culture by showcasing their uniqueness to the world while boosting their livelihoods through tourism ventures. Native’s vision is to strive for a nation that celebrates our colourful heritage and empowers ordinary citizens to be ambassadors of Malaysian hospitality.
During COVID-19, we realised that as many stayed home, the number of single-use plastics in takeouts and food deliveries increased. Not only harming the environment, single-use plastic tableware poses severe health risks in the long run too.
With takeout and food deliveries not going away anytime soon, we saw this as an opportunity to help businesses make that transition towards reaching sustainability goals by providing compostable products. Based in Malaysia, the country that ranked eighth in the world for mismanaged plastic waste, we are determined to eliminate plastic waste and create viable economic, environmental and societal value to our country and beyond.
This is how Circlepac was established.
